Effect of Coating Process on Properties of Two-Component Waterborne Polyurethane Coatings for Wood

Acrylic acid has good environmental weather resistance, water alcohol dirt and other properties. An acrylic dispersion with a core–shell structure was prepared reacted polyisocyanate-type curing agent to prepare waterborne polyurethane topcoat suitable for wood. The two-component used in combination primer sealing applied Pine (Pinus strobus) boards carry out gloss, wear adhesion experiments. effects of different coating amounts spraying times on the comprehensive properties wood coatings were studied. experimental results showed that when self-made matched primer, amount had little effect improving resistance but significant gloss. greatly impacted adhesion, they no decisive impact improvement When 60 g/m2 100 120 sprayed twice, performance obtained film best. This research preparation process optimization can provide technical basis application topcoats
